P.S. 37’s goals are to provide an outstanding instructional program that reflects the needs and talents of students. The highly qualified and caring instructional staff is committed to ensuring that children succeed by following the Common Core Curriculum. Our teacher’s help students reach their ultimate academic potential and succeed in achieving their goals.
At P.S. 37, students flourish in a kind and supportive environment. We focus on structuring proper class sizes and a program of instruction that is both individualized while meeting if not exceeding standards. Our students really excel in this learning environment that includes positive community support, individual attention, and encouragement which help all students strive for excellence.
Our students range from 3-21 years old. P.S. 37's main site houses our elementary and middle school students. P.S. 37's Annex houses our high school students. We also have a variety of off site schools in which our students are able to learn in their Least Restrictive Environment. P.S. 37 seek to develop all of our student’s skills and competencies specifically provided in our school curricula.
Our teachers are professionals who meet experience in their area of work and the ability to impart knowledge and skills accurately and lead our students to successful learning processes in theory and practice.
Our paraprofessionals are all highly qualified individuals assisting teachers in every day instruction and support for our students.
